When you get a fresh and original idea, it seems the best place to follow up is the internet.

Before going on to rediscover America, so to speak, it helps to check out what others have done before you.

I set up this website with the hope of getting GOOD people the jobs, recognition and the business they deserve.

I thought there must have been visionaries who’d set out on this very quest before me.

Too often, it seems that the world revolves around the strong-willed, petulant, self-assured, loudest, and the most ego driven people in the world.  Much of this has caused some of the biggest problems in the world today.

So what if we give the power to the thoughtful, creative people with genuine passion for what they do and not just for how much money they will be making?

In my quest to take part in this experiment, I ran into Nicholas Lore and his excellent Rockport Institute that helps people get the jobs they deserve.

The Rockport Institute does not give these people the jobs.  They give them the coaching and with preparation, persistence and creativity, these GOOD people end up getting the jobs that lead them to greater control of their lives and the world around them.

I wrote Mr. Lore a short e-mail explaining my situation.  I asked him for guidance in getting into a job in digital media I felt passionate about.  I’m passionate about digital media because this is the next frontier.

Television and radio are on decline and everything is moving to the digital platforms.  There’s still room in the internet for opinion-makers to express themselves and lay out the foundations of a better tomorrow.

People are hungry for knowledge above all, and what knowledge they will have access to is in the hands of us civilians before this new technology becomes an institution.

We will see together how it will take shape and what shape it will give in return to the society.

I very much enjoyed your letter, and everything you said. I’m more of an eternal beginner than a master, I’m afraid.

I have to make this short as my computer was just brought back to life after 9 days without. Even though our work is about career choices, it is actually about life choices and about creating one’s life rather than having the past give us our future.

Now that I know my passion for propagating ideas and pushing for action for a better future is not going to die anytime soon, I can go about finding my destiny and helping good people along the way find theirs.
